We Got Our Patents!

2016 was a big year for us here at ESO Strap. In our second year of business we released 6 new colors, additional lengths and a bass strap offered in 7 colors! It was busy to say the least. However, with all that rad news, the biggest win might just be the two patents we received from the USPTO. We were issued 2 utility patents for both the contoured shape of the ESO Strap, and fluid motion pick-pocket’s designed to ease the replacement or storage of a guitar pick. Cheap vs. Expensive Gear? When to Spend the Money…?

Spending money on a lifestyle or hobby is an easy purchase because it makes you feel good. However, the amount you spend is up to you, and expensive gear is not necessary at first for two reasons: Cheap gear can get you pretty far You may not know yourself as an artist yet. Musicians go through life cycles when it comes to their art. Any interest typically starts out as a simple goal or desire to emulate something you have always wanted to do or become. Studio Quality Sound for All

The process of recording music is now easier than ever.  Programs as simple as GarageBand, or as complex as Pro Tools, offer us the ability to capture studio quality sound from any room in the house.  It is incredible. We should wake up each day with a huge smile on our face for these blessings. A recent example of just how far we have come is when we recorded the music for one of our ESO Strap videos in just a few hours. It was as simple as this: overlayed 2 rythm guitars, 3 lead guitars, voice over, bass and a drum track in under 3 hours… Again, this is incredible.
