The Northwest Makes You a Better Musician

Ok maybe not better but definitely more productive. One thing all of us here in the Northwest know is that when the sun is out you better enjoy it. The summers are like Christmas morning for 2-3 months straight. Everyone becomes full of contagious energy, because we can finally enjoy outside without wearing a jacket! Everywhere you go is lush and green due to the winter rainfall, which adds an amazing backdrop to any activity. It’s awesome. However, the other 9 months of the year can also be great when it comes to writing music. Rain, overcast skies and general lack of sunlight make you more introspective. NAMM Show 2016

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us in our first year at NAMM! Since launching in August of last year, we have come a long way, and this event made us realize that we have built a brand and product, people now know and love. Pedals or Band Members..?

People start bands every day, and the first thought is usually to find members. Two guitarists, a bass player, drummer, vocals, and keys etc… Why all these people? Less really can be more. The less people needed to make a decision the better. I have been in both 4 and 5 piece bands, as well worked with large teams in business. It can be a nightmare… A few years ago my buddy and I started a 3-piece band. Me (guitar & vocals) him drums, and one other friend playing bass. Northwest Spotlight: Witherow

Being from Seattle, we love to feature bands creating unique and inspiring music right here in our own back yard. As most of you know, it is not hard to find amazing talent within our city limits, but often times the outliers are the ones to watch. The Olympic Peninsula band, Witherow, has been catching the attention of much more than just music lovers here in Seattle. Formed by musicians/sweethearts Abby Mae Latson and Dillan Witherow, this group is certainly onto something different.
